The wind rises... and our daily life is shaken up, stripped of its colours and of the tender tweet of serenity. It’s a passing cloud. A storm. A dark thought worms its way through thousands of ideas. And when all seems dry, arid and dead, yet the beauty and meaning of life relentlessly sprout again.
There is a whole world in our mind – vivid and colourful – alive with sounds, smells, colours and thoughts... an ever-changing world, always on the move. Anna Paolini brings it to light and makes it bloom through the foliage of a tree-woman, where thoughts and emotions alternate on the tangle of branches.
With her intense yet delicate pastels, the artist suggests an analogy between our inner world and the course of seasons, offering us a touching, silent story to celebrate the cyclic nature and the resilience of life.
