The course of true love never did run smooth. Littered with obstacles, from the exquisite pain of unrequited puppy love to the end of a loving, toy-sharing relationship, a pug must learn to skillfully navigate these hurdles while keeping his head high and his tail tightly curled.
Gemma Correll, illustrator and pug ambassador, observes in a series of 50 charming cartoons the challenges that face today’s young pugs in their valiant quest for everlasting love.
A Pug’s Guide to Dating aims to take young pugs everywhere by the paw and gently lead them through the minefield that is modern courting. With 50 entries examining everything from first impressions to dating, long-term relationships to romantic gestures, this guide covers everything that a pug and his owner need to know in order to establish successful and fulfilling relationships. Who knew that sniffing someone’s backside in a park could be so alluring?
Gemma Correll is a freelance illustrator, cartoonist, and generally quite small person. She currently lives in the self-proclaimed “fine city” of Norwich (UK) with her trusty sidekick pugs: Bella, aka “The Stinker,” and Mr Norman “Snorts-a-lot” Pickles. This is her second book on pugs, following on from A Pug’s Guide to Etiquette.
